PHOTO FUN

1.   The Gem

This picture has been taken using the “Rule of Thirds”.

The rule of thirds helps to focus the audience to a certain point in the picture. This makes the picture more attractive and entertaining.

2.   Pooh

Meet POOH. The most cherished toy of my childhood. I loved POOH and couldn't sleep without him till I was in seventh grade. I have given away all my toys to other children but I still have POOH because he is much too precious for me to give away.
This photo of POOH has been taken using the "Rule of Thirds".

Siggy

This is Siggy. My cat, my best friend, my daughter, my everything. She is a Persian Punch Face and she is eight years of age. She has differently colored eyes. She loves me as much as  I love her. She sleeps with me and she gets sick when I leave home to go to my university out of my city.

I took this picture of Siggy using the rule "Fill the Frame".

Home Sweet Home

I still live in the house that I was born in. I have a lot of memories in this house. I learned to walk on the the floor on this house. I spoke my first words in these walls. No matter where life takes me, I will never leave this house. It is the only place that I can call "Home". A place where I can go, to take all the burdens off of my shoulders.

I have taken this picture of my house from down below. It looms over the picture which gives the building a certain grandeur. This is the application of another rule of framing.

The Aura of a Book

A book is the only thing in the world which makes a person loose all sense of time and pulls that person in its aura. There is nothing except the book that matters in that aura. The marks of ink on the parchment have all the meaning. This is a picture I took to exhibit this idea of mine.

This picture uses leading lines to focus on the watch. The edges of the book act as leading lines and direct the eyes of the viewer towards the watch.

Online Classes

Due to the ongoing situation of COVID-19, all educational institutions in the world have converted their lectures to online mode. This is a mere excuse by the name of education. I pass my time by drawing on books during these so called lectures. This is one of the sketches that I drew during the lectures in this semester.

This picture has been captured using leading lines. The pencils act as leading lines and point the viewer towards the sketch which is the main object of the picture.

My Best Friend

This is my best friend Awais. He was my class fellow in 11th and 12th grade. I took this vertical portrait of him in front of Badshahi Mosque Lahore. This picture is quite important to me as it reminds me of a pretty joyous day.

My Classmate

This is Khawar. He is in my university class. He also happens to be my roommate. I consider myself quite lucky to have such a nice and caring person as my roommate. He is literally everyone's friend. I'm not going to say anymore positive things about him.

I captured this horizontal portrait of him on the very beautiful NUST trail.

ME!

As a person, I'm more on the shy side. I don't like to post a lot of pictures. When I do take photos, I try to be as creative as I can. I took this photo on Lake Saif-ul-Malook located at the outskirts of the breath-takingly beautiful city of Naran. The greenish blue water of the lake glows directly behind me in this picture even though I am at a fair distance from it. I seem to be looking at something that is making me feel happy. I was  actually looking at a stall of snacks as I was starving. Anyone who knows me is familiar with the fact that eating has always been my first priority.

This picture brings back a lot of memories from the days when I visited Naran with my friends.
